Color Scheme

Of course like all Airstream trailers ours is silver on the exterior. The interior is an entirely different matter and just like everything else colors and decoration have been changed by the factory at frequent intervals throughout the years.

When new ours would have been extra ugly with early 1970s colors. Luckily the recent remodel replaced all those colors with a nice neutral palate allowing us to create our own color scheme inside with the decorative items we add.

For some reason unknown now due to the passage of time, tacky, plastic, pink flamingos seem to be quite popular with Airstream owners. In fact, we were given one by a good friend as an Airstream Warming Gift.

Before our little trip to Salem we had not yet decided how we would decorate, but the decision has now been firmly made. We are going to embrace the tacky flamingos. Stopping along the way we found a store with a massive collection of flamingo junk and couldn't resist getting a good sampling. At KinkFest itself we took things one step further and bought a beautiful rubber flogger in hot pink and black.

The die is cast, pink, black, and tacky is in our future.
